Ann Glover makes paintings and large scale primitive sculpture out of wood. Subjects include stacked letters, totemic figures, kinetic sculpture, and figurative work, all having the quality of children’s toys. Surfaces are developed with stenciled type, pattern, and/or graphic imagery. She lives in Roanoke.
